Rincon Corporation was founded by Larry Lahr in 1991. Located in Santa Maria, California, it is the only full service agricultural real estate company on the Central Coast. As a California licensed real estate broker, Rincon offers expertise and professionalism to its clients interested in selling, acquiring, leasing, or financing agricultural property. Rincon’s proprietary agricultural real estate database allows us to maintain current information about property history, ownership, and availability. Rincon constantly monitors the agricultural real estate market to keep up-to-date on market trends. Furthermore, Rincon participates with the Multiple Listing Service and various other Internet based listing services, to enhance the marketing of your property and keep us informed of available properties.

Larry Lahr and Frank Ferrero are the two licensed agents providing services for your real estate needs on a team basis. Both Larry and Frank come from working farm and cattle ranch backgrounds in the Los Alamos area, and received Bachelor of Science degrees from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, in Agribusiness Management. After graduating from Cal Poly, both worked for the San Luis Obispo Production Credit Association (PCA), a part of the Farm Credit System. During their employment with PCA, Larry and Frank accumulated significant experience in appraising and financing agricultural properties in the Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.

In addition, Rincon Corporation provides several other real estate services including: financing, management, and consulting. As former agricultural lenders, the staff at Rincon maintains relationships with several lenders for various types of loans. Rincon can represent you at no additional cost, and shop your financing needs to find the best available source. Rincon is also active in management and consulting services. We often represent owners’ interests to ensure that a certain project is completed on time and within budget. Other times, we manage property for owners who are too busy or distant to properly represent their best interest. We also act as a general partner in various investment entities. We often provide bookkeeping services to our clients as well. Rincon’s consulting work usually involves some aspect of finance or real estate planning. We are often employed to conduct due diligence, financial feasibility analysis, or to develop financial restructuring plans.
